About the Business

Based in a small office on an industrial estate not far from Heathrow Airport, Ray had worked with several tour operators and airlines via his previous printing and publishing business so had a good idea of what was involved. He had a vision for the kind of service he wanted his agency to deliver.

Doreen whose hard work, long hours, and devoted attention to detail, meant she was the Accountant for the company, and to all intent and purpose, the boss. Paul had left school at the age of 16 in April of that year and spent his time as an editor of a specialist civil aviation magazine which was distributed and sold worldwide. This later paved the way for him to write no less than thirteen books for the civil aviation enthusiast, for publishers that included Airlife and Jane's - two well-known companies of the era. The fact that Paul had achieved this by the time he was only 18 was no mean feat.
